what precautions should i take if my grandaughter has hpv i am very worried about this how contaiges is this what should i do please help me so i can stay safe i have never delth with this before thanks
Great question. If your granddaughter has a confirmed diagnosis of HPV, it is important to know what type it is. It is also important to know how old she is and if she is sexually active. This virus is usually spread by sexual contact. Given that I don't have many details of your granddaughter's case, it is important that you talk with a provider about her specific diagnosis. If you don't have a primary care provider, the sexual health clinic of your local health department can help.All the best.
