What Liquid Stains Teeth the Most in 1 hr?

Question:

I need to do a class science project. 20 kids each child will have one hard boiled egg and we will have 10 liquids: coffee, tea, brown soda, clear soda, apple juice, cranberry juice, red drink, grape juice, milk and water. Should we put the eggs half way into the liquid and keep half out or should be put the eggs completely in the liquid. Is one hour long enough to see if the liquid stains the egg`s shell. Is doing two egg per liquid a good idea to prove that the liquid stains the egg`s shell like it would teeth?

Answer:

I would put the egg totally in the liquid, as your "control" would either be an egg in water or an egg not immersed at all.  One hour should be long enough and 2 eggs per liquid is fine.
