Small Vessel Ischemic Changes03/08/2010 |
My brain mri found small vessel ischemic changes. Does this indicate Parkinson`s disease. Main symptoms I have are balance problems and falling. I`m 56 yrs old. And also told these vessel changes mean nothing.
Small vessel ischemic changes is a very non-specific finding and is not related to Parkinson's disease. This is something often correlated to hardening of the arteries. Generally, a routine brain MRI is normal in idiopathic Parkinson's disease.
