Suspicious Infiltrates

Hi good day to you!! My father had his x rays 3 days ago stating that he has suspicious infiltrates are noted in both upper lobes..and he suggest to take lordotic view for further view.. can you please tell me what the meaning of those diagnosis as simplest as you can..and what do we need to do next?  thanks so much..

Thank you for visiting NetWellness.  Usually the lordotic view is to visualize the upper lung fields better. An alternative is a CT (computed tomography) scan of the chest. Only the health professional who ordered the tests should interpret the results, so please consult with your doctor about your specific questions.  However, NetWellness may have some general information available that you can access through our search feature.

Best wishes.
