Fiberglass Exposure03/17/2010 |
I removed a fiberglass tub from my bathroom with a sawzall with limited respiratory protection. There was a lot of dust generated and I was wondering if I should be concerned. I was in the bathroom for ~ 2 hours while working on it.Thanks for your help!
Hi,I don't see too much to worry about here - the levels of exposure workers get is way beyond what you might have gotten in this limited exposure. Health effects of fiberglass exposures have not been very obvious, even among highly-exposed workers.
