Parkinson's Disease |
P.D. and the heart01/31/1999 |
Is the heart afffected by Parkinson's Disease ? I ask because the heart is muscle and I have been curious about this .
Parkinson's disease affects the brain and not muscles, cardiac or otherwise. Even if patients complain of muscle spasms, this is related to abnormal functioning of the brain and not muscle involvement as such.
