Left Eye Swelling, Itching, & Redness05/25/2010 |
Since Sun my left eye has been swollen, it started out just a little puffy. I noticed it after me & my daughter got home after a bike ride. It was itching me so I rubbed it, just thought it was my allergies. But when I went in for the day I noticed that it had little spots in the middle like bite marks, but I never felt anything bite me. Its been two days and it hasn`t gone down instead its gotten worst. what is going on?
See your eye doctor. It sounds like you had a foreign object fly into your left eye, and some of it may still be there under the lid. Also, your eye doctor will probably prescribe some antibiotic eyedrops to treat or prevent any secondary eye infection.
