Odors and COPD06/02/2010 |
I recently moved into a small cottage and was not told that nieghbor on same property grows medical marijuana. It smells quite strong (like skunk) and affects my breathing. I am getting worse instead of improving even with no longer smoking and medications. If I go outside or opem my door or windows the odor almost takes my breath away. What can I do?
Thank you for visiting NetWellness and for your question. People with COPD may have many things that trigger their symptoms. This could include exercise, cold air, hot or humid air, smoke, dust, air pollution, or other inhalants. If people are on the optimal medication regimen then avoidance is the only thing that may help.
