Question:

I can see some white patches on my leg and on the ear.
I`ve consulted few doctors who said there is no treatment, its immune system. Is there any treatment for this problem where it can be static rather than spread to other parts of the body? There are numerous web solutions, but i want to know which is the best.

please let me know, i would appreciate it

thankyou

Answer:

If it is vitiligo, your doctors are correct in that it has an underlying immunologic mechanism, and so reversing or curing is not easy. sometimes it is associated with another immune disease such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and so proper work up needs to be done if such or similar diseases are suspected. I am hesitant to recommend anything on the internet as most of these did not undergo rigorous clinical testing.
