Shortness of Breath06/11/2010 |
I have experienced shortness of breath for past several days...oxygen level shows 99%...my cardiologist this morning says oxygen level means nothing. I did get celestone shot along with amoxicillin yesterday...shortness of breath was apparent again this morning...I am smoker...down to six a day..trying to quit with Wellbutrin..
Thank you for your question. I applaud you for trying to quit tobacco use. There are several causes for shortness of breath, and oxygen level does not necessarily correlate with the degree of shortness of breath. In order to identify the cause of your shortness of breath, you would need to be first evaluated by your primary care provider.
