Can you have liposuction or a breast reduction with Sarcoidosis? I have lost my vision due to sarcoid.
Dear Madam-
The risks related to surgery can be increased in patients with sarcoidosis, especially if they have significant lung or heart involvement. Some surgeries are more risky than others. I would recommend that you seek advice from your doctors to determine if your sarcoidosis places you at significant risk for surgery, and to consider how risky the surgical procedure is expected to be. These decisions are best made on a case-by-case basis.
