Root Canals |
Pulp Test07/07/2010 |
I`ve been having tooth pain since I had a crown placed, with temporary adhesive. My dentist wants to take off the crown to do a pulp test and then probably do a root canal. Is the pulp test necessary if he is planning on doing a root canal anyway or could the pulp test help to prevent me from needing the root canal? Thank you.
Pulp testing is a diagnostic tool used to assist in determining whether you need a root canal.
