I am confused about my urinalysis results07/30/2010 |
Hi Doctor,I will appreciate your help. I received my urinalysis result on last two months ago.
pus cells/hpf: 4-6 rbc/hbf: 0-2 epithelial cells: Rare mucus threads: moderate am.urates/phospates : few
Am i have any risk for health problem? I don`t have any symptoms.
I am very confuse because the clinic doctor just asked me to drink more water.
I will appreciate your advice.

Pus (leukocytes) 4-6 is normal, epithelial cells 2 is normal, mucous threads is normal. Based upon the urinalysis, you are not at risk of any specific health problems. Drink mor water probably good advice but, again, not something that is derived from the urinalysis specifically. Hope this reassures you.
