I have moderate COPD (emphysema). I live in a 4-year-old house with good AC/heating system. Will an air purifier help me, or am i getting enough air filtration with the existing system?
Thank you for visiting NetWellness and for your question. There is no evidence that investing in an air purifier system helps people with COPD.
If you have more allergic tendencies or asthma and live in an environment with a lot of allergens, then it may be helpful. Otherwise, if you have a new home with good ventilation, that is probably adequate.
