Is the combination of these following drugs safe for a 26 year old man to be taking together? PaxelCR Abilify Calopin Ambian
Thank you for your question. One interaction for you to be aware of is that Paxil CR may increase the concentration of Abilify in your body. This can cause an increased number of side effects due to having more Abilify in your system. These side effects can include headaches, agitation, insomnia, weight gain, and dizziness.
In addition, Abilify, Ambien, and Paxil CR are all drugs that can make you extremely weak, drowsy, and confused. When these medications are taken simultaneously, it can intensify these side effects.
In regards to the drug "Calopin", I am unable to identify this medication. If you are referring to the medication clonazepam which is the generic name for Klonopin, then the following is accurate. Clonazepam is another medication that can make you extremely weak, drowsy, and confused. By taking this medication in conjunction with Abilify, Ambien, and/or Paxil CR, those side effects can be enhanced.
You may want to speak with your primary medical doctor or pharmacist in order to find an effective alternative that can help you avoid these interactions.
