My gums are protruded; and I wanted to know, is it possible to have them pushed back? Is so, what are the pro`s and con`s? If not, what other cosmetic procedures are available to deal with this uncomfortable problem?
This is impossible to evaluate without a clinical evaluation. The answer depends on whether it is caused by the position of your bone or teeth. Surgery and or orthodontics is an option. I would recommend a consult with a prosthodontist.
