Inflammation in the Eye

07/15/2010

Question:

I`ve been diagnosed with inflammation in my eye. I`ve been on steroid drops and the pressure is now 30, and my vision is blurred. What could be the cause?

Answer:

This is difficult to answer. Ocular inflammation can occur due to a variety of conditions, and pinpointing one can be very difficult. It sounds as though you are being seen by an eyecare professional since you know what your intraocular pressures are.

Ocular inflammation on occasion can be difficult to treat and may take some time. Trust your doctor and give this condition a little time and hopefully things will fully resolve.
