can you have grapefruit products while taking crestor thankyou
Rosuvastatin (Crestor) is metabolized slightly differently than some of the other "statin" drugs. Grapefruit interferes with an enzyme that breaks down some drugs in the digestive system, resulting in higher-than-normal drug levels. Because rosuvastatin is not affected by this enzyme, it can be taken with grapefruit products.
