Gum Blisters08/03/2010 |
For months I have had blisters form on my gums. Some are blood filled. They are not extremely painful but do hurt at times. My dentist does not know what they are and just suggested rinsing with warm salt water. I have tried watching what I eat to see if spicy foods make a diifference and that doesn`t seem to matter. My doctor suggested multi vitamins and that also did not help. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
I recommend you to see a periodontist or an oral pathologist if this is a continuous problem for months. It is probably something related to your immune system. These blisters need to be examined for their location and clinical symptoms. A biopsy can be taken for differential diagnosis.
