My daugheter is 2 yrs old. She developed dysuria 15 days back. She was given oflaxacin for 5 days and augmentin for 6 days. Now her urine routine shows traces of albumin, 1-2 PUS CELLS,1-2 rbc, 2-4 epi cells. Her urine culture senstivity is sterile. She has slight swelling of lower eyelids when she wakes up. What coluld be cause of mild albuminurea and eye swelling and how would it resolve?
The finding of traces of albumin and a few pus cells is insignificant if the urine culture is negative and she is not experiencing symptoms. I doubt that the eye swelling is related to these lab results.
