Sore Gums08/17/2010 |
i recently had a tooth removed and a few days later small white bumps or spots started to appear around the area where the tooth was removed. it is sore but im not sure if thats where i had a tooth removed or its the small white bumps causing the pain???
It is hard to say if the extraction area or the bumps would be causing the discomfort. More than likely, the skin around the extraction site was scratched during the extraction (very common) and the tissue is simply trying to heal. If that is the case, it should feel better in less than a week. If it does not, follow up with the dentist who extracted your tooth.
