Black on base of cap on tooth08/31/2010 |
There is a black substance around the edge of the base of the crown on four of my teeth. How can I get rid of this? I brush three times daily and floss once a day. I rinse with listerine twice daily.
It maybe stain or discoloration from the metal of the crowns. Have a professional cleaning done if this is not enough the crowns may need to be redone for crowns with out metal or if they used metal make sure is a noble alloy to avoid discoloration.
