Dentures

09/28/2010

Question:

I`m in my thirties with a number of cavities - when do dentures become a reasonable option? Or do dentures present a whole new set of potential issues?

Answer:

Dentures are not a reasonable option. They are the last option. When patients switch to complete dentures, chewing capabilities decreases 90%. Speech, function, face profile, taste, comfort will change. Try to save your teeth if is possible.  It is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
