What does it mean when a woman`s period is black and brown?
Most typically very dark (brown or black) bleeding is simply due to old blood. It can also occur with some contraceptives that result in very little bleeding, and small or short periods can be dark. If you are concerned, do not hesitate to contact your health care provider.
