Running side effects for women over 5510/28/2010 |
I recently started running to lose weight. Need to lose about 20. But I am concerned about a sagging bladder. I already have to use heavy panty liners due to leakage when running. Will running worsen the problem?
Any strenuous physical activity will trigger urinary leakage. However if pelvic muscles become stronger by exercise it will reduce urinary leak. In addition, weight loss further improves urinary continence. If incontinence causes change of daily activities you would become a candidate for surgical correction.
