Medication Passed to Semen11/02/2010 |
I`m a 54 year-old Parkinson`s patient taking 10 tabs of 25/100 Sinemet per day. I know Sinemet can change the color of my urine, and it does, can it also do the same to my semen? Also, can Sinemet be passed by my semen to my girlfriend if she swallows it, or by unprotected vaginal sex?
While a few medications can be passed through semen, there are no reports of Sinemet being passed through semen or changing the color of semen. The body fluid color changes reported with Sinemet have been only with sweat, tears, and urine.
