Flowmax for Women11/02/2010 |
I am a female and my doctor has just put me on Flowmax. I almost constantly have the sense of having to urinate, even when I have just done so. I have been treated for bladder infections, and the tests now show there is no infection present. I also suffer from mild incontinence. My question is: how does Flowmax work in a woman?
Flomax (tamsulosin) relaxes muscles in the bladder that allow urine in the bladder to more completely empty. This should relieve the feeling of constantly having to urinate.
