Allergic Reaction to CT Scan Dye12/02/2010 |
I had a ct scan on friday and they shot this dye in me and i never had a ct scan before . now two days later i look like i been in a tanning booth.how lon g is this going to take to go away.
Delayed reactions to contrast dye have been reported. I would notify your doctor of this reaction to determine if indeed it was related to the contrast dye. In the future, if there is any concerns that it was related, if you require contrast you should be pre-treated according to published consensus guidelines for managing contrast reactions.
