String of Knots in Arm Vein11/02/2010 |
About two months ago I spent 8 days in the hospital being treated for a DVT with blood clots on the top side of my left forarm. No IVs or blood draws were done in that arm. About a week after being released a smaller vein in the under side of that arm feels like a string of pearls. There are 5 knots and they are tender to the touch. They are not red or hot like the DVT. What could this be?
They could be clots as well and should be seen by your doctor.
