Rh Factor11/09/2010 |
I have the Rh factor and my eldest son did too now he is expecting his first child is there any reason to be concerned? Can the baby have an Rh factor too? Should i tell him to inform the doctor?
The problems with the Rh marker on red cells typically relates to the situation if the mother is negative and the baby potential is Rh positive (i.e. the father). This is not a common situation but one that obstetricians handle on a regular basis. I would encourage them to discuss this with the obstetrician to see if this indeed is an issue.
