COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
Life Expectancy with Limited Lung Capacity
What would you say is the life expectancy of a 67 yr old female weighing now 125 pounds (when brought in only 82 pounds with hypoxia), having right tricuspid heart valve failure with final stage COPD and liver damage from pain medication??
Thank you for visiting NetWellness. NetWellness receives many questions regarding prognosis and life expectancy for persons with COPD and emphysema. Although it is not possible to provide specific predictions in a forum such as this, you may find the following guidelines helpful in knowing what to expect.
Please accept our best wishes.
