Dental and Oral Health (Children)

Rippled Permanent Teeth

11/16/2010

Question:

So far four of my sons tooth came out, but all four is rippled why is that.

Answer:

I'm not sure how old your son is but it is not unusual on permanent teeth to have ridges called mammelons. These will wear down with function over time.

If there is any concern, I'd recommend bringing it to your dentist's attention.
