Stretching/Strengthening Functional Genu Varu

11/23/2010

Question:

Where can I find exercises to strenghten or stretch to correct as much as can a functional genu varum (both legs) left knee has had surgery.

Answer:

Since you stated you have "functional," as opposed to "structural" genu varum (bow-legged knee deformity), there's more of a chance you'll gain at least some benefit from nonsurgical treatment options.

Consultation with your physician and probably also a physical therapist, should provide you with recommendations which are specific and therefore most helpful to your needs.
