Sore Throat12/15/2010 |
I haven`t been feeling well for about a week and a half, it started with a very sore throat and then I started to get a stuffed nose and a cough. I drank lots of water, took mucinex, and advil for the pain. Today I noticed that my taste buds are kind of swollen. Is this just a sinus infection and should I go see a doctor?
This is most likely a viral upper respiratory infection, and fits the pattern for the bug that has been going around this early winter season. You should go see your doctor if you have any persisting symptoms beyond another week, or certainly if you begin to feel worse.
