Sweet and Heat Sensitivity01/13/2011 |
I have had several root canals and crowns adjacent to each other, but that part of my mouth is still quite sensitive to sweet foods and to very hot foods (such as a very hot cup of coffee). They continue to cause quite a bit of pain. I try to avoid them; but beyond that, do you have some ideas on what might account for this, and what I might do about it? Thanks.
If the root canals where done properly you should be out off pain by now. I will advise to have a second opinion by an endodontics (specialist in root canals). The dentist shouldn't do the final crowns if you were in pain.
