Liquid around the Lungs01/27/2011 |
What are the neoplasms that would cause exudative liquid? What is the exudative liquid?
Any cancer can cause an exudative liquid around the lung. It means that there is a buildup of fluid around the lung. Exudative means that there is more protein in it than a simple transudative effusion. Infection and other inflammation can also cause exudative liquid. So it's not just due to cancer.
I hope this helps.
