Eye and Vision Care

Binocular Vision

03/25/2011

Question:

Is there any way to improve depth perception? Specific problem being difficulty judging distance on sides especially left. This person wouldn`t be unsure on distance (more so on left side) despite a lot of space being there. Some times as much as 3 ft.

This person finds it difficult to mentally manipulate images, map reading etc.

Details :

1. Anxiety - OCD 2. 3 injuries on head - Problem apparently since before this. 3. Discomfort in left eye after exercise especially if pulse >=125. This apparently started after injury. 4. Difficulty in analysing fast moving images - unable to spot potholes from a distance (when in a car) and in general apparently has trouble with distant vision (again when car is at speed like 50kmph). 5. Refraction : -3 both eyes. 6/6.

Would you suggest Brain CT to rule out any clots?

Thanks,
