Head Circumference of my Baby02/21/2011 |
On my last visit to my baby`s doctor check up at 3 months, the doctor was concerned about my baby head, she said the hole in his head is almost closed and that might affect his brain growth and she asked me to measure his head circumference to see if it`s with in the growth chart, at 4 months my baby measured 50%. My concern is, could be there a problem still with my baby even if he is on the 50% if the hole in his head is small and looks like it`s almost closed? I keep thinking about this thing.
The best way to check if the soft spot or frontal fontanelle is closing is to request an ultrasound of that area.
