MRSA & the Lungs...07/05/2011 |
Am about to have a CT, with & without, since a 3cm round mass was seen on chest xray. Had pneumonia over the winter, and am constantly battling mrsa. Can MRSA become encapsulated in the lung? I was a long time getting over the pneumonia and then these allergy/asthma syptoms cropped up & caused the xray.Thank you!
Any infection, including MRSA, can appear round and simulate a 3cm mass in the lung on a chest x-ray. The CT should help clarify the concern. Good Luck!
