If my creatinine is 1.62H is that a problem? And if it shows eGFR non-afr american 52 L is that a problem?
This is definitely a higher level of creatinine, and a lower level of kidney function, than expected. There are many possible causes of decreased kidney function, some temporary, some treatable, and some not.
Please see the links below; note that you fall into "stage 3" chronic kidney disease (eGFR 30-60). You should be seen by a nephrologist (kidney specialist) within the next few weeks or months. If your primary physician has not ordered basic kidney tests on you (such as more blood work and a urinalysis), they may wish to order some before referring you to a nephrologist. Please write back if you have more questions after you read the basic material.
