Diet (12/11/2007 11:15AM) |
| In order to receive all the nutrients your body needs (protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins, minerals, and more), it is important to have a good variety of foods in your diet. By choosing different foods within each food group, you should be able to obtain all the vital nutrients you need to stay healthy over time. In order to get that variety, choosing food from all the groups shown on the "MyPyramid" guide is an easy way to help you plan (see MyPyramid.gov). | |
